Common Questions/Things You Should Know
What is the Rally? The rally is a day long event where kids from all over the diocese come together for a day of faith, fun and fellowship. The day is from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and features a wonderful keynote speaker, Jesse Manibusan. The day will have workshops, food, and other various activities through out the day. It is a great time for all who come. Please note we have one day for junior high and one for high school.
Where is the Rally? The rally is held at the St. Thomas More Center. You may have been there if you have ever been to Catholic Youth Camp. It is also home to the Office of Youth Ministry. It is a great place for young people to come and explore and enrich their faith.
Who is Jesse? Only the greatest person in the whole wide world. Jesse has been amazing crowds all over the world for a long time. He is a singer, funny man, speaker, hypnotist(o.k. kidding), father, husband and man of Christ. He is all that and a bag of chips. The man is half man- half amazing. I could go on, but if you want to know Jesse, just google him. I dare you. You will find plenty of stuff. Here I will spell it for you: Jesse Manibusan.
When should we come? You should be here by 9:30 at the latest. The show starts at 10:00 with opening prayer. We will start at 10:00 too!!!! Please know that the show will begin without you and that would just be sad.
How much does it cost and what is included in the cost? Well it costs $35. This is a really good bargain considering you get to see Jesse Manibusan, you get a really cool t-shirt(if you register by the t-shirt deadline), you will get a meal out of the deal, the Holy Spirit will descend down upon you if you would like and you get to celebrate Holy Mass with the Bishop! So in recap that pays for registration, food, t-shirt, keynote speaker, workshops and oh by the way, we will throw in a snack when you leave.

What should I wear? Clothes! For sure modest clothes. Wear something comfortable. Although we are going to celebrate with Mass, you don’t need to wear your Sunday finest on the outside. Bring your Sunday finest on the inside and we will call it good. Just be comfortable. I would consider bringing a coat or sweatshirt as it may be cold.
When do we eat? The lunch is scheduled for 12:15. So make sure you bring a snack for the ride or for one of the breaks. We don’t want hungry peeps. That leads to distracted minds.
Should I bring more money? You can if you want to. Jesse will have some merchandise for sale. There are pop machines if you are into that, and there may be a few other vendors as well. So you can bring some extra cash, but I wouldn’t get carried away, unless you plan to donate to the TerryClarkneedykidscampaign. A little bit of money is fine.
