Young people then become educators of their peers, families, and communities by using their artistic talents (e.g., writing, singing, acting, drawing, movie-making, etc.) to teach others about what they have learned. Schools and parishes submit young peoples’ entries to their diocesan CCHD office, which judges all diocesan entries locally, and then chooses up to two entries for consideration in the national contest.
